Pricing

How much does a website cost?

That’s a really good question, and one I’ll try to answer without referencing a “piece of string”! In general, there’s two types of website: Brochures and eCommerce.

Brochures - from £950

A Brochure site is a great way to introduce your business and set out your service offering. It typically consists of Home, Services, About Us and Contact pages. You might have separate pages for these, or sections within a single scrolling page, but this would be typical content.

In fact THIS website is a typical Brochure site.

eCommerce - from £1,800

An eCommerce site will typically include a Brochure site with the addition of an online Shop for selling goods or services. These tend to take a lot longer to create and extras such as data migration may need to be considered.

Logos - from £250

A logo is essential for building your brand and will inform the colour choices for your website too. Your logo will represent your business online, in emails, social platforms, signage and packaging, so is a critical part of launching a new enterprise.

Domain Name - from £20 per year

Your new website will need an address and these typically cost £20 per year for a .co.uk or £25 per year for a .com. Other domain types are available like .scot or .org which may be different prices, but we can help you with this.

Squarespace Pricing

Finally, there’s the cost of the underlying Squarespace platform which includes the design software, hosting and maintenance of your site. Currently (2026) the Basic package is £144 + VAT per year and includes more than enough functionality for most Brochure and eCommerce sites.
